January 23, 30, February 6 @ 4:00 – 5:00 - An Introduction to Dart Procedures, Frances Marsden will explore simple developmental movements which are patterned deep within us from childhood. These are our primary and secondary curves and our spiral movement. As we integrate the principles of the Alexander Technique into these movement patterns, we learn where there is interference. As we lessen the interference and “our distorted musculature untwists,” we experience greater freedom of movement. All these movement patterns can be explored in a chair or on the floor. The principles of the Alexander Technique are our guide.
