About the Event
The Alexander Technique was developed due to F.M. Alexander's vocal challenges and remains a vital resource to vocalists. In this two-hour workshop, we will explore your experience in singing and apply the tools of the Alexander Technique to enliven our singing practice. Bring your questions, challenges, and even sections of repertoire, if you like. All are welcome!
Laura Parker is a professional singer and Alexander Technique teacher who currently works with music students at Chapman University's Hall-Musco Conservatory of Music in addition to being Assistant Faculty at ATI-LA. She became passionate about AT after her first lesson made her feel like a new singer!
